FREE Circle of Care Guidebook for Mental Health Caregivers
The recently released Circle of Care: A Guidebook for Mental Health Caregivers was developed by the National Alliance on Mental Illness for unpaid family, friends, and neighbors who care for someone with a mental health condition. The 56-page Guidebook emerged from On Pins and Needles: Caregivers of Adults with Mental Illness, a national study on mental health caregiving conducted with the assistance of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health America (released in February 2016).
The Guidebook is attached, and can be downloaded at http://www.caregiving.org/circleofcare/. You can also separately view, download, and print the twelve Fact Sheets that make up the Guidebook, which are intended to assist caregivers with the specific challenges identified in the On Pins and Needles study.
Thanks to Ginny Peterson, NAMI Pierce County, for identifying this great new resource!
