Member at Large – Kendall Simmonds
Kendall has lived in the Puget Sound region her entire life and has found her home in the city of Tacoma. She enjoys nature walks and meditating in the forest, lifting weights, and investigating true crime mysteries. She is passionate about activism and advocacy, and hopes to make a positive impact in as many ways as possible in her lifetime.
Kendall is currently finishing her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and will be continuing her education to earn a Master’s of Social Work. She recognizes how many lives mental illness touches and is familiar with the struggles it can bring. Her desire to make a difference has drawn her to NAMI Pierce in an effort to provide support for those affected by mental illness in one way or another.
